VIPDC hosts an annual WING TO RING where pointing dogs run in hunt tests in order to qualify to advance forward into the ring portion. You must then win the Breed to advance to the GROUP level. You can then compete for BEST IN SPECIALTY and FIELD AND SHOW WINNER. The highest placements are only awarded to the Group 1st and 2nd placements, with the dog with the highest qualifying score winning the FIELD AND SHOW award. This is a lifelong dream come true.
